Ufahamu is an initiative that creates a space for LBQI persons to be empowered on SGBV, SRHR and mental health as well a platform for dialogue on critical matters affecting us.

It’s an initiative that create space for different stakeholders /experts to have dialogues on a different agenda to share their different perspectives so that they can demystify myths and misconceptions that surrounds cultures, religions and social norms that lead to stigmatization of LBQI and any other minority persons.

It’s a project that aims to capacity build its members on financial literacy, business skills with an aim of giving small loans either to kick start small businesses or strengthen small threatened businesses and nature LBQIpersons talents so that they can  use them as a source of income.
